With the first nine months of 2010 nearly gone, I look back at how fast they have flown by. Those weeks that lasted forever when I was in grade school are now gone almost before they start. My daughter's summer vacation just flew by, when I was taking her back to school in August, it felt like she had only been home for a few days when in reality it was three months. I know time doesn't actually move faster than it used to, but it sure feels like it.

Why do I bring this up? As I said in my last post, I am going to explain how you can use the annual maximum on your dental insurance to your advantage at the end of the year. Say your annual limit is $1500 and it resets every January1st. If you are unlucky enough to need some major work, by doing some before the end of this year and finishing up at the beginning of next year you can get $3000 from your insurance company in just two or three months. To make this work requires careful planning and scheduling, so get going now. December will be here sooner than you think and you may not be able to get everything done if you wait to long to get started.

That's it, short and sweet. If you have any questions about whether this can work for you, please give us a call. We'll be happy to help you out.

Dr. Jeff
